    Description

Fred Haise signed souvenir copy of the humorous mock "towing invoice" issued by Grumman Aerospace to North American Rockwell, dated 17 April 1970, the day of Apollo 13's successful splashdown. The manufacturer of the Apollo 13 lunar module, Grumman issued the fake invoice to Rockwell, the manufacturer of the command module, with no charge for "baggage handling". Haise signs in fine black felt-tip at bottom, "Thanks for the lift, Grumman - / Fred Haise / LMP Apollo 13". Document measures 8.5" x 11", in near fine condition.
